Fast forward the best part of a decade, and all the fifth form are "ironically" loving Gordon The Gopher. Needless to say, I gave them all the cold shoulder.

I mean, Gordon The Gopher can't even speak. He's objectively inferior to Kevin The Gerbil, who was never intended to be more than an obsequious side kick to Roland himself.
