Like GDM said he has the second/third most important and influential role in government. I am genuinely surprised by how low his profile is.... I mean an FT interview is not high profile. The FT ran an interview with him this afternoon.
He’s campaigning a lot in his own constituency, which I think is fair enough.

Why does it matter where the interview was conducted? No relevance whatsoever. Was the interview conducted in his own constituency?
Tories have no one to blame but themselves. Public now seen through them and have had enoughIt's entirely sane given everything that's happened since.
Perhaps he could have had a higher profile, but I would also question whether Reeves has had an appreciably higher profile? I wouldn’t say she has.Like GDM said he has the second/third most important and influential role in government. I am genuinely surprised by how low his profile is.... He's only in that job to clean up after Truss. Tories don't like him.Like GDM said he has the second/third most important and influential role in government. I am genuinely surprised by how low his profile is.... I mean an FT interview is not high profile.
