I think the hysterical shouting that labour is going to put everyones tax up has backfired , it is a bit turn off i think, it has become boring to people . Also today sunak , i think, said inflation will go up again if labour get in . It is desperate mud slinging lies
Whatever last vestiges of dignity he was clinging onto have now left the building. Have some self respect you embarrassing ****. If he continues on the same trajectory, by 3rd July the **** will be offering to suck people off in the the streets of Grimsby in exchange for their vote.

Ewww that is a picture i didnt need in my head , lol

Seven million people eligible to vote have not registered and the deadline is today.
I bet quite a few of them will complain when anything goes wrong!!
My mind boggles that anyone would give up their right to vote. There are millions across the world who would dearly love to be able to vote as freely as we are.

Sorry just my moan. I don't care who you vote for but please vote. It was a hard earned privilege for ordinary folk. JMHO
I think those that arent voting just arent into politics! Or all the crap that goes with it.
My pal jusy isnt into politics at all. Would name the prime minister but apart from that he would struggle.
Hes the sort that breezes through life without worrying too much, NEVER watches the news etc.
i envy him in a way

Plus … we fought for the right to choose to vote

Looks like Stratford’s still blue ffs.

You'll be a pariah constituency afterwards!

If that poll is anywhere near accurate it's staggering. It looks like even Whigfield (Fabricant) is in danger in my neck of the woods. Amazing. If the data's right it'll be Reform taking votes that'll do for him, ironic given how he's pivoted to and encouraged culture wars nonsense the last few years.

So that's me sorted for the next couple of weeks, hanging round the coffee shops ensuring enough of the genteely racist old biddies of Lichfield feel emboldened enough to put their cross in the Reform box :-)

Where the fuck is Jeremy C Hunt these days. He's been quite conspicuous by his absence/silence. Not that I really want to see his smug face but just wondering.
The FT ran an interview with him this afternoon.

He’s campaigning a lot in his own constituency, which I think is fair enough.

Spoke to a senior Tory today.

Educated lawyer and advisor.

His opinion.

Capital gains tax is going to go up to 45 pecent. A matter of when but will not be long.

The unions are in Raynors ear like you would not believe and we are essentially going back to into the Eu in all but name.

Labours spin in 6 months will be things are far worse than we thought and then the tax rises will start.

Positive is that there are some huge infrastructure projects planned - interestingly funded by the private sector. Pfi style almost. Starmer meets Blair once a month and we will see some similarities.

He actually spoke highly of the soon to be chancellor but said the Labour Party will imlode in much the same way the Tory’s have as there will be a battle between the extreme left and centrists. Largely typed this as I want to see what comes true of it in a couple of years time.
