Johnson equally culpable in the 3 years pissing about given that he never backed Mays deal. Johnson then proclaiming he won a miraculous new deal by using the same deal just with an extra layer of shitting on Northern Ireland. It is not May's fault that the hardline no deal brexiteers refused to sign up to her deal but sucked off Johnson to get on board with his deal. This whole thing is a cluster fuck of immense proportions. Oh and even if the WA had gone swimmingly there is no way we would have a trade agreement in place by now, as will be evidenced in the upcoming months / years of trade negotiations and johnson shifting even more of his redlines now he has a strong majority.
We have had three and a half years to sort out a trade deal.

I do hope Boris takes a sensible approach to Brexit.

His withdrawal agreement does appear to find a balance and he doesn't need the threat of no deal anymore, not with his majority.

Secure a WA with the EU, spend the next few years negotiating a trade deal with the EU, enter into trade deal negotiations with the US, and he'll have my backing. I just hope he doesn't go gung-ho about things, but I don't see that he would.
Spot on. I hope he doesn't do anything daft either. I will be massively pissed off if he morphs into Jacob Rees Mogg, and I am not expecting it.

The one thing I would say though is that we still have a deficit and a flatlining economy. If Brexit depresses it further then he may have no money and may be unable or unwilling to deliver on his NHS and other promises. That would be a grave mistake. He simply must step up and deliver, and restore some trust in the people who held their noses to vote for him.

currently pulling hard for Venezuela with @The perfect fumble and @urban genie?
I've laughed at this longer than I should have done.

Do you still think that we centrist traditional Labour voters are not needed and should fuck off

Of course you will say a resounding YES to that - but inside you must be really hurting as you try to hide from reality

I've been predicting this for some time, you'd know that if you read anything I post, instead of just reacting to what you think I mean, either ways reaction is the new zeitgeist, so have at it.

Lets not forget @Bigga

This whole thing has been worth it just to see those who have been totally insufferable getting it handed to them.
They've seen that the public has rejected their politics of hatred and division.

Whether they'll accept that they were on the wrong side of history remains to be seen, but for a lot of us it's a day of vindication and common sense.

We told them that is is exactly what was going to happen, and we were lambasted for it.
