I was wary of hope, when the polls gave a glimmer I posted them to rattle, but anyone with a sense of perspective and a bit of history under their belt, knew which way this was going.

The more challenged among us think respect for a democratic mandate means you have to agree with it's outcome, that's a nonsense, I do not agree, this country has made a fundamental error and the least able will pay for it, but we've been here before.

On a personal level I'm alright, I'll go back to my twin loves of City and frantic onanism.

It's still a fucking disaster though.

Did yer see Boris at his presser this morning, or was it last night, he was imitating one of yer second loves when he suggested Labour hands quivering over the Tory box!

It won't change. Majority of country doesn't care and think scroungers use them.

The boy off the dispatches interview saying he has to watch how much he eats has been stuck in my mind for days now as he looks the same age as my boy. The parents might be scroungers/drug addicts or alkys but children don't get a choice in any of that to see them suffer breaks my heart.

“The trees kept voting for the axe as because the axe was made of wood, the axe convinced the trees he was one of them”
If the trees voted for the axe, you'd respect that it was their decision, correct?

Or would you force them to vote how you think they should vote?

People are getting angry now, cue the effigies and the placards calling everyone Nazis, the political landscape of this country has been flushed down the toilet by the opposition and their stalwart supporters. This country said NO yesterday and you get the feeling they'd like a re-run like they tried to get on Brexit.

For Scotland to join the EU as an independent member, it would require the UK leaving the EU.

But it's more the Scottish economy that's the main issue for Europe. An independent Scotland does not look very attractive with it's mountains of debt. It doesn't want another Greece situation.
Given an independent Scotland would need to own a portion of the current UK national debt with the North sea running dry and UK defense contracts out of bounds they would as you say not be an attractive prospect.

Just tears in the rain, now. :)

All their plans, a second referendum, a People's Vote, blocking brexit... over.
