But the Bolt argument is not what you said. As for Boris Johnson, he got a second class degree, despite having every privilege going. Same with Rees-Mogg. Do you think they passed an entrance exam like your kids would have had to? Of course they didn’t.
You may be unfamiliar with this concept of "tendency"? I mentioned it earlier but guess it must have confused you.

No-one is. Why did you imply anyone was?

Did you invent 47% or is it based on something real?

For the record I don't have any empathy for people who invent statistics.
I've invented fuck all dear.. It's the top rate of tax. 45 + 2

When the rich are getting increasingly more wealthy whilst we have people sleeping in doorways in manchester it matters to me. I don't mind some having more than others, that is how it's always going to be, but the divergence between rich and poor has become too great in my opinion. This is not about an obsession 'with other people', it's about fairness. This is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, I would just like to see that wealth spread out more, not just concentrated in the hands of a few. As I said in my original post on this subject, we've had a few decades of wealth stacking in favour of the wealthy, I think it's time for that trend to be reversed for a bit for what I consider to be the good of society.

Very hard to argue with this post, good on you sir

And so should you and perhaps learn to read posts better before spouting....

I am not one of those that have selected the Tories as the party that I will be voting for.

But thank you for so completely proving my point.

So even though I am not planning to vote Conservative - I still get abuse from those that are intolerant of anyone that is 'not had-left enough'

As I said - well done for proving me to be correct
Kevinhorlockswand - you liked this. Can you explain what he means?

It's always been a left-leaning forum, and always will be. The right just tend to shout louder and longer, boring opponents into submission, giving them a disproportionate voice on here ;)

Very untrue, both sides(depressing) shout very loud and very long. When you agree with one it just passes you by more, such is life. If we want to avoid boring opponents we should put this long standing nonsense to bed once and for all. People are strong in their opinions but only have so many ways of expressing it, the election is a while off so we can joyfully expect much more repetitive shouting on a daily basis.

We have done it for well over 3 years on brexit so a few thousand Tory I’m alright jack and fantasy left wing policies rants should be a walk in the park. This only applies if the Tories haven’t closed down saId park.

I think come voting day chippy will still love a pound note and Vic will still have his student union pamphlet safely on his bedside table.

I like boris, never voted anything other than labour all my life, but I wouldn’t wish Corbyn on anybody, well.....maybe electricians but that’s bout it, ...........probably liverpool fans aswell...........

I’m Similar. Labour voting parents, always voted Labour but won’t be voting for them this time.

Not sure I can bring myself to vote Conservative though but I’m toying with the idea.

Why can you not vote labour?

Leader or policies

Or both?

This is not a direct dig at you the following but I have said already I just don't get if someones values are that of labour the idea then of conservatism is the polar opposite.
I don't understand how people can so easily switch, when I was dissolutioned with labour I voted green as at least they were akin to my core beliefs.
