I've invented fuck all dear.. It's the top rate of tax. 45 + 2
Top rate - only at over £150k plus 2% NI. You said 47% on everything earned not the marginal rate.

Maybe when you're handing over 47% of everything you earn and are being told its not enough and you need to give more, you might find yourself having a different perspective.

I'll accept you made a mistake rather than were lying through your teeth.

Sorry for the lack of empathy for people on £150k

Corbyn quick off the mark...or at least the team running the account are

‘Donald Trump is trying to interfere in Britain’s election to get his friend Boris Johnson elected. It was Trump who said in June the NHS is “on the table”. And he knows if Labour wins US corporations won’t get their hands on it. Our NHS is not for sale.‘ @jeremycorbyn

I can’t imagine Trumps backing is much help to the Tories, more a kick in the bollocks:-)

Why can you not vote labour?

Leader or policies

Or both?

This is not a direct dig at you the following but I have said already I just don't get if someones values are that of labour the idea then of conservatism is the polar opposite.
I don't understand how people can so easily switch, when I was dissolutioned with labour I voted green as at least they were akin to my core beliefs.
As you know, I think Corbyn is a complete arse and I wish he would fuck off as far as a fuck off can take someone, but I'll be voting for Afzal Khan, simple as. I don't understand how people don't see this. We aren't voting for a president.

there are some very clever and good left wing posters on this thread and I enjoy reading their contribution unfortunately anybody who isn’t fully on the Corbyn bus is badged as a right wing racist. God forbid if you voted brexit as well - nazi !

I expect people think I am a right wing poster but I used to be a card carrying , door knocking member of the Labour Party, always voted labour , last time I voted it was Lib Dem’s and never voted last time ( no way could I vote for Theresa May or Corbyn ) and never ever voted Tory in my life but this time I am considering it ( even though I dislike Johnson)

Don’t do it please. I did once and have been washing with swarfega ever since.

Exactly.

I didn't make a mistake, I merely simplified it for brevity. If you are on £2m a year, effectively your rate is 47% on everything, near as dammit.

And by the way, I'm cool with your lack of apology for your erroneous criticism.

Well there's a complete waste of time, it's the safest Labour seat in the UK give or take.

I suppose it depends on how close to the centre line you are in the first place as to how easily you can be swayed. I am very anti Corbyn which doesn’t help.

Like I say though I am undecided currently.
