Has to be said Nico, your posts do seem a bit flippant and lacking content. I mean, you just said that it is a fact that anyone working class who votes Tory is a disgrace.

Perhaps you'd like to explain why you believe that to be the case? (Serious request).
If it doesn't occur to working class voters that they are being manipulated by oligarchs via servile politicians and corrupt media outlets, then what use is explaining it? And things such as the systematic running down of NHS with an endgame of privatisation is in plain view. How could you not support something which was so hard won by your forefathers? Something so important for the next generation. It's disgraceful.

UK 45% seems about right to me. What it is not, is "low". Low is,

Hungary 15%
Montenegro 9%
Russia 13%
Bulgaria 10%

These are low. 45% is not low.

OK, let me widen it for you. You assert that 45% is a low rate of tax. So how does that actually compare in 2017? Courtesy of KPMG:

EU average 38.56
Europe average 35.51
Global average 33.73
Latin America average 34.11
North America average 36.3
Oceania average 37.5
OECD average 42.4
South America average 34.11

I ask for tax to placed in the context of it's economic model and you throw in a list of countries.

Do you deliberately miss the point? Or is it a gift?

You clearly do not know much about the Labour shadow cabinet nor the man who would end up in charge of our economy... Have you not seen them at their rallies with their fists in the air belting out the red flag anthem?

What is on offer is a socialist utopia which ironically is not based upon socialist principles. The reason it does not go further is simply because they would have to replace every MP given 85%+ do not support them.

If you look closely you'll see a few old farts in the crowd, well somewhere amongst them you'll find me.

Like your gift of diverting attention away from your cock ups? I seem to recall the argument that the alleged "social democratic economic model" is commonplace everywhere else and it is only the UK that is so capitalist, right-wing and under-taxed.

Tory scumbag charged for Thanet overspending at last election.
Is he standing this time?
Will he have the balls to withdraw?
I doubt it.
