Fucking hell. It's bad times when even the rags are doing business better than we are.
to be fair to them they get rinsed but like Chelsea at least get the players?

dire, lukaku and lindeloff for the best part of £175,000,000 is doing the business fuck me.Fucking hell. It's bad times when even the rags are doing business better than we are.
What have they done for you to come to that conclusion?Fucking hell. It's bad times when even the rags are doing business better than we are.

Dier is bang average, and will cost them £60m+.
There's nothing to worry about with that transfer, I suspect he'd have been on Spurs' bench next season anyway, he's already 3rd choice CB and they're buying a new midfielder to play with Dembele and Wanyama.
at least their doing the business hahaha.Don't forget Perisic for £50m - that's the worst of the lot.
£220-230m for those players is awful business.

I think a lot of people are seriously underrating Dier and I'd happily take him at City. Versatile, strong and great with the ball at his feet, what's not to like?
He isnt good enough to nail down a first choice spot in any position, much like many versatile players his 'jack of all trades, master of none' attributes are also his weakness.I think a lot of people are seriously underrating Dier and I'd happily take him at City. I would think that you`re either a Rag or Spurs fan on the wind up if you think that.He would certainly not get into a City team.I think a lot of people are seriously underrating Dier and I'd happily take him at City. Versatile, strong and great with the ball at his feet, what's not to like?

And at North of 50m......nah.

Oh there's no question that price is insane. But Dier is better than Fernando, better than Kolarov, better than Delph, a lot younger than Fernandinho and can play right-back when required...
It may have been silly but to suggest that the lad is a good buy at that price is ludicrous, hence my take that it must be a Rag trying to put a spin on it,to justify that amount. But the fact remains,he still isnt good enough. He may be younger than Fernandinho but, currently,i wouldnt want him replacing him.
As for the @oakiecokie comment,it was a bit silly.
