General transfer rumours

The Leicester purchase of Perez and Tielemans (Plus the planned purchase of another Mid and RW) are not reliant on selling Harry.

The whole thing with Harry is very unclear - if the media is to be believed, he wants to go to you guys rather Man Utd (Derrr - thats obvious too), but how intent he is to move is unclear. He does feel a lot of thanks to Leicester, he has gone from pretty much a low level to being a starter for England, and credits leicester a lot for this.

Guess we will see over the next week or so, but Top seems pretty adamant that we won`t go for less than 75+, which is (clearly) crazy, but Man Utd unlike you guys are desperate (Again, according to the media).

When is your Fernandinho cover/replacement coming in?

Hell no. Useless and overrated.

I don't want Coutinho anywhere near my club but it seems PSG wants him.

So far, judging by the the moves PSG is supposed to be doing, i'm very disappointed.

Seems to me that Barca have gone a bit nuts. Griezman and Neymar in 1 summer when they already have; Messi, Suarez, Countinho etc is madness. They need to ship some out and they are in no position to ask big money. I think PSG are getting Coutinho on the cheap if this does happen.

Difficult to tell in that Newcastle team who were so hot and cold. Will be interesting to see how he links up with Vardy and Leicester who will have a much more consistent way of playing and will create a lot more opportunities.

Leicester one of the few teams with a joined up transfer policy. So many teams, even the giants seem to be splashing the cash without a plan.
I know there are many negative posters about City signings "ffs, get it done taxi", but our planning and execution second to none.

Ha ha, sounds a bit obvious like a letter to the Sun, now I have read it.

Barça president is there until 2021. He is going all in to win a CL and cement his legacy. They also want to make a push before Messi decline.

I'm not a fan of selling one of your best players, let alone your very best player in this case, to get several goodish players.
Coutinho is no fool but he is not the top player he has been branded before. He was a problem to fit tactically at Barcelona and only really worked at Liverpool so far. Neymar was very good as a winger, very good as a 10, very good as a 9 1/2. And Coutinho doesn't even make it up by being a defensive powerhouse like the other Liverpool offensive players. For example, i would prefer getting a Firmino in my team rather than a Coutinho. He would be very good to play with Mbappé upfront.

Selling Neymar will not be a good deal for PSG (unless he is injured non stop at Barça) but the player wants to leave. We will have to do our best out of that bad situation. Today, ESPN with good reporters Moises Llores and Laurens said Barcelona think a 200 M + Coutinho offer would be accepted by PSG. This kind of offer seems to be around the fee PSG is asking for Neymar.

You could be right - What i dont get is Where Barca get that money on top of Griezman money and still be solvent notwithstanding FFP. That is massive money. I don't think they have it.

They got a 150 M€ mega deal with Nike.
They have been selling a lot of players for decent value. Think they still have players to sell for a lot of money too. Between last financial year and this new financial year, they have sold for more than 200 M€. Also, they'll prolly sell a midfielder after de Jong arrival and Malcom, Coutinho with Neymar and Griezmann arrivals.
 


Barella who should go to Inter Milan has reportedly been spotted at PSG headquarters. Weird when his social media put him far from Paris. Let's see if it is later confirmed.

LOLOL if Inter manages not to get him we'll take the piss out of them for a while, they've been trying for so long to sign him and he isn't really a difficult signing.
