General transfer rumours

I feel like nothing BIG will happen for weeks here.. FDJ, Lewa, Mané, Koulibaly, Gnabry, Salah? no one seems to be in a rush cos that will push up the prices significantly, and that will delay the Sterling, Jesus etc interest as well. (+Raphinha, Philips if they aint got clauses) Maybe the Lewa deal in a couple of weeks, month time will kickstart the rest of the big business. Hes pushing hard now.

Tchouameni is probably the first one up, but his deal wont create many reverberations directly in the market (Monaco etc) , even if I feel they are slightly overpaying for him.

Dembeles free transfer might happen sooner though.

I found an interesting list somewhere online about relatively big players which contracts will expire in 2023. when a couple of these leaves for decent money the market will start moving more.

Edit: Kingsley Coman has extended since that list early Feb though. e2: Ronald Araujo has extended his contract as well.. hmmm. + Neuer

+Fabian Ruiz (Napoli) and Tielemans (Leicester) could be someones to keep an eye on.

Transfer fees will become a thing of the past and we will have a similar set up to the NBA where players allow their contracts to run down. It means a whopping signing on fee for the player and increased wages off set by there being no transfer fee.

If you go by the "rumours" its quite amazing how many players in this eras 2 great dominating english teams that wants to leave really..
It goes to tell really that you can still do amazing things even if everybody doesn't 100% want to stay all the time, but that they are 100% committed to the task on the field and to their teammates. (unlike a certain United for instance.. much worse players though and with questionable team ethics.). this feels unprecedented really in these times in the Pep/Klopp era.

If you go by the most extreme take and take everybody that with good sourcing wants to/has recently wanted to move on in these 2 teams its,
Mané, Salah (demanding impossible contract) Oxlade-Chamberlein, Joe Gomez (not as good sourcing) Minamino, pretty obvious. (Origi, gone)
In City its from back to front, Laporte (seems impossible), Aké, Mendy (gone..) Zinchencho, Ferna (gone), Gundogan, Bernardo Silva (seems calmer now though), Mahrez (not so good sources), Sterling, Jesus..

There could have been wholesale changes in both sides come next seasons start.

Can somebody explain to me where United, the side that has not qualified for the Champions League, the side that is NOT SELLING players, has 85m€ to spend on De Jong?

And why these Catalan morons are interested in Bernardo Silva? He is 100M£ and they have zero money.
