Lockdown has driven me back to Mario Oddessy. Completed it bar the darker side section. Hardest level I've ever played in any game?! Mental considering the game is largely a piece of piss. However my lad switched on assist mode and completed it. Told him he was cheating but he just kept getting in snide digs a 9year old completed it proper before a 39 year old lol. Now made it a petty rivalry where I've decided to "cheat".. with that mode also. However I'm doing every moon/purple coin in the game. Insane how much is in the game.

If you are looking for a good platformer on the switch try Yooka Laylee and the impossible lair. A good fun game but with a viscous last level! It was so hard the developer gave the game a patch allowing check points in the last level!
It took me around 75 goes just to beat it once
Odyssey is probably my favourite game of all time. A masterpiece in my opinion. Still haven't completed the Darker Side of the Moon, it drove me insane so I had to walk away from it haha. I'll give it another go at some point.
Coin harvesting just to get 9999 coins on my son's account so he could have the skeleton Mario suit he really wanted, only to then change Mario into something else ten minutes later because he wanted another costume, was another frustration!

Playing hard to get eh?You know what sucks, she said hello yesterday and I ignored her. Not intentionally, there was a traveller kid up to no good in our estate so I was distracted. But I heard the hello yet I did not even look in her direction. So she probably thinks I am hating her now. Kicking myself because of that

I'm coming up to the end of the FF7 remake (based on my knowledge of where it should end, no spoilers yet please). I found the middle part a bit boring but I have to say that i've found the game enjoyable and i'm keen to see Part 2. It should be a bit more open world and it's going to be good to see how the little towns and villages are recreated.
Roll on 2027 or something! Ha.
Indeed, I was googling this morning and my enthusiasm has been slightly dampened. I'm not really into game trophies, but i'm at the point of going back to Wall Market for the second time and i've only got something like 33% completion on PS4. Presumably the rest is locked behind hard mode?
No idea mate. Big gamer, but no interest in trophies too really so I've not looked. I wouldn't be surprised if some are difficulty tiered though.
Don't think they'll be another Dead Space game. EA shut down the studio who made them Visceral Games a couple of years ago.Been playing an older classic this week, Dead Space 2 on PC. Such a classic atmospheric game that has stood the test of time. Less said about the 3rd the better.. but I hope they get round to making a 4th one day.
Finally beat shadow of the tomb raider on hardest difficulty. Not difficult in particular, but bloody annoying is the fact that on hardest difficulty you can only save your game at base camps which are every hour or so along. One slip up and you have to replay up to an hour's gameplay.
Glad it's done. Enjoyed the story and will go back and play the others in the reboot now, especially as the second has been put into ps plus for July.
Fancy a change of pace now. Might pick up Stellaris, love the Galactic Civilizations games.
