General Videogame Thread

That's about the going rate so a good deal, the only puzzling component is the RAM it's a bit on the slower end of DDR4 and Ryzen CPU's love RAM. That said it looks like a nice rig that'll play games in higher settings overall you got a deal.

i did wonder about the Ram, but after watching numerous videos on YouTube the general feeling is diminishing returns after 2400mhz. Also, I game at 4K or 1440p 60fps (on most new titles) single player so I’m not really too bothered about 144hz etc.

Bought my first ever gaming PC the other week.

Did I get a good deal?

  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB Graphics Card | Displayport v1.4, HDMI 2.0b | 650W 80+ Certified Gaming Power Supply
  • Connectivity: 4x USB 3.1 Gen 1 | 2x USB 2.0 | 1x PS/2 KB or Mouse Port | 1x RJ45 Network Ethernet 10/100/1000 | 300Mbps 802.11n Wifi | 5.1-Channel High Definition Audio

I’m playing Witcher 3 at 1440p max settings along with Doom at 4K and GTA V at 1440p

£1023

Nice rig that mate. RAM is a touch slow but other than that, decent specs for the money.

Cyberpunk delayed once again. Starting to think we'll never get to play this fucking thing.

Classic case of giddy marketing departments delivering unrealistic release dates and finance departments pushing for release ASAP for ££££. In creative industries I wish they'd leave things to the designers/developers to get on with things.

The game has gone gold which means its finished and complete. The reason for the 3 week delay is that they currently cannot produce enough physical copies for the demand for a 17th November release so its been pushed back to 10th December. Its nothing to do with the marketing department. Remember it was supposed to be released back in April But CDPR delayed it by 6 months to finish the game
