I'm not leaving it a couple of weeks. Getting it delivered today. £38 on Amazon for Series X.
 
60 hours in to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and I still haven't even left the first map yet!!

In fact I'm yet to complete the main quest to get to the wedding. There's so much to do it's unbelievable. The majority of the side quests are bigger and better than most other games main quests. It's an absolutely phenomenal game.

I think my only gripe with it at times is it gets bogged down a little bit in to much dialogue. I've just reached the second map and about 70 hours in and even now find combat so bloody hard, though it has got a lot easier. Character development is outstanding and there is so much to do in the world its easy to just lose 4/5 hours doing side quests. If you are doing the side quests, get them done before the wedding as once you hit a certain point you lose existing side quests.
 
Only just got into Dragon Age: The Veilguard and thoroughly enjoying it. As someone who was heavily invested in the series from the beginning, it makes me sad it was subject to a huge boycott as it could well kill any future projects. Some of the reviews certainly tried to capitalize on the anger against it at the time.
 
I finally treated myself to an Xbox Series X last weekend, but then had the busiest week/weekend so barely had chance to have a go!

However, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been downloaded, and the Mrs has her friends round Friday night so that is my time to get some gaming time in - and I can't wait!

I have played, and completed, RDR2 a few years ago - but I feel like I rushed it as was trying to finish it before my son was born. This time I'm starting over, and taking my time with it!

The only other game I play is Warzone, and even then I only really go on DMZ - so, if anybody wants to Squad Up, let me know!

Yeah 99% of my gaming is just DMZ - though when Verdansk is back I'll probably go back there a bit too!

DMZ was the best thing to ever come out of COD. Warzone was always just carnage and i was cannon fodder for anyone but DMZ had a good balance between feeling like you were achieving something and then coming up against other squads as you go through the game. Shame they left it to rot after MW3 as it was perfect for people like me (ie. not that good).

100% - I can't believe they will leave it forever though, there are too many fans of it. DMZ 2.0 has got to happen!

It is so much fun, and still is (though quite toxic now everyone has got bored of missions) and for all skill levels too!
 
Loaded up star wars jedi survivor on my PS4 before my ps plus runs out.

Have noticed markedly worse graphics which really surprises me. Grainy, blurry, even with those settings turned off, and I'm sure when I played the first game in the series on my PS4 it was just fine.

Makes me think there is something to the theory that Sony and/or the developers purposely make performance worse on products approaching end of life, to force punters to the next generation.
 
If someone plays Atomfall, can they let me know what it's like? Reviews are varying and I'd like a normal opinion.

Spent about 3 hours on it last night. Playing on Series X. Looks great, story seems interesting and the side quests are well built. The combat however is absolutely fucking awful, seems to be slight input lag as well. The voice work isn't great either. Has potential.

Started Assassin's Creed Shadows today. About two hours in and have to say I'm really enjoying it. Looks absolutely stunning and the setting is perfect for somebody like me who loves Japan. Combat feels very tight and well done.

It's more how demanding the titles are now. A title like that is really pushing it to the limit and they have to do their best with what they have to work with.
 
Absolutely blown away with Assassin's Creed Shadows. Amazing world to fuck around in, the quests are superb and the story is pretty gripping. Plays like a game version of the TV show Shogun and it's absolutely stunning graphically. Beats Odyssey for me.

I'm about 5 hours in now, enjoying it for the most part, particularly the fact that it doesn't hold your hand as much as a lot of games, there is a little bit more figuring out for the player, and it seems most of it can be done in any order, with a fair few impactful decisions needing to be made.

So far so good........it's not a Fallout beater though.
