General Videogame Thread

Once you have done the initial intro parts the whole world becomes unlocked. There is no do zone A to unlock zone B etc.

Plus there is way more vertical roam space than most games.
Thanks for the reply. I will definitely purchase once I can find a Ps5.

Was just about to post this. On the Xbox Series X and it looks fucking dreadful.
It’s all been one massive con from CDPR. Maybe they will one day fix it, maybe they won’t. Either way, people won’t forget the way they’ve hidden the realities of what Cyberpunk on anything other than a top spec PC looks like. Scum.

Some games are like this: anyone played 'No Mans Sky'?

Over-hyped rubbish when it came out, but after multiple updates its great. It even one an award at this years golden joysticks (for best update!) there is even a Playstation VR version which is supposed to be amazing too, but I just don't have the gear to play that on at the moment.

No Man's Sky gets a pass as they were a tiny indie studio with barely staff hugely out of their depth who were suddenly thrown into AAA level hype. They could never have dealt with it. CDPR are bloody massive though. No excuse at all.

Agree, though, they still deserved a lot of the criticism for perpetuating much of the hype later in development (making promises they knew they couldn’t keep late on). But, they have somewhat redeemed themselves since and will have hopefully learned their lesson for their new game in dev.

A more accurate comparison would be Bethesda and Fallout 76.

“It just works.”

Fair comment. The reviews I have read about the Cyberpunk game though have been very positive, so it is odd people on here are having these graphic issues and are giving such negative feedback. Hopefully patches will sort it.
