General Videogame Thread

Inscryption is game of the year for me, no question. This is a really freaky mystery game built around a hugely entertaining card game that's somewhere between Gwent and Slay The Spire.

Don't read the reviews - spoilers would really be a disaster. Play the free demo. It's definitely worth an hour or so of your time.

 
Is fifa 22 likely to be on offer for Black Friday? Not seen anything advertised yet.

If you are not fussed about owning it on disc, keep checking online greymarket sellers like CD keys. About £47 on there at the moment.

Just checked my purchase history and picked up Fifa 21 for £27.99 on December 12th last year. You might need to wait a bit longer than Black Friday :(

Cheers pal, I've bought fifa on release day for the past 12 years but don't play as much these days, I just use career mode so can't justify the full price.

Also tempted to get Vanguard full price for the campaign mode which looks epic.

PlayStation or Xbox?

If you are on Xbox you can try out a free 10hrs trial if you have gamepass. From what I could tell not much has changed besides the ability to create new clubs from scratch for career mode.

PlayStation pal.

I enjoy career mode (manager), I treat it like Champ manager by taking a league 1 team up to the prem etc haha
