General Videogame Thread

PlayStation pal.

I enjoy career mode (manager), I treat it like Champ manager by taking a league 1 team up to the prem etc haha

Nice stuff. My fifa 21 career mode is Barrow AFC (league 2) took them all the way up and won the league and CL multiple times. Also won the WC in 2026 with Paraguay before resigning.

As a long time Nintendo fan who has never played a GTA game but HAS played witcher 3, BOTW etc, is this collection worth buying?

Together the three games come to about 100hrs of gameplay (without 100% completion, just main story, side missions and extras).

If you haven't played it before you might want to try out the PC version, modern machines will be able to play it. Or xbox or PS2 if you have them. A few quid for disc copy or available online to pirate.

Or get one of the games on android or iphone. Can sync your switch controller instead of using touch controls on screen.

Inscryption is game of the year for me, no question. This is a really freaky mystery game built around a hugely entertaining card game that's somewhere between Gwent and Slay The Spire.

Don't read the reviews - spoilers would really be a disaster. Play the free demo. It's definitely worth an hour or so of your time.

Looking forward to this. I take it you've played Pony Island as well? It's a bit messed up too.

My series x does at least one shutdown every fifa session, maybe 1-4 when playing Valhalla it is not enclosed and airflow is fine. It is already being referred to in the house as a "bag of shit" due to its unerring timing of quitting when the going gets tough. Bought new from Game but i'm unaware if stock shortages are still a thing. Is the series X suffering the 360 trouble of overheating?

The bag of shit will go back if stock is ok now
