General Videogame Thread

Anybody given Borderlands 4 a whirl yet? Loved 2 but thought 3 was a huge disappointment.

First borderlands game i havent purchased on release. I loved 1, 2 was an all time favourite, 3 just felt dated.

They've made quite a lot of changes by all accounts to really modernise it but I'm just off the Borderlands train now. Hope its good, i'm hearing positive things about it but it seems to be falling in to the 8/10 range rather than a 9/10 must play.

I no longer buy games unless it is an extremely rare titles that i feel have to play on release. This might have fallen into that category after borderlands 2 but not anymore and so i wont be playing it until it inevitably comes to one of the subscription services.

Completely agree with all that. 3 was such a let down.

Finished Little Nightmares 2 fantastic and atmospheric game, not to difficult but does make you use your brain to figure stuff out I must admit I had to check you tube a few times but it seems sometimes the game glitches and you have to come out of it and restart to complete certain bits.

Holy crap that’s ridiculous, the world is getting fucking expensive, how much money do these fuckers need, I guarantee they lose loads of subscribers. 3 years ago I managed to do the glitch thing and git 3 years for £90, no way I could justify paying that amount a month. Don’t even play Fortnite, which is a free game anyway.

It's fucking mental. I bought a PS5 Pro off a mate a couple of months ago and haven't really played on Xbox since then. Paid £100 for 12 months ps premium and just cancelled my Xbox subscription.

Had an Xbox since 2001 and Xbox live since 2006 but the price hike is the final straw. Microsoft have officially lost the plot and them charging £1000 for an Xbox handheld is just crazy as well
 
Recently finished Elden Ring (first go through) and moved onto Sekiro where I am struggling with the final fight. Both are amazing. Whilst I hone my skills on Sekiro to finish it I restarted Ghost of Tsushima. Its totally stunning to look at and is fun at the start but I think its too big and gets a bit samey. Still recommend it though.

Yep but those Xbox handhelds sold out in no time you can pre order now to get one in December! Oh and they’ll probably show up on eBay for £200 more too!
