The HHH burying video really was quite well done. I love how they're kayfabing the rumours that have gone around wrestling for years into the story.

Looking forward to Wrestlemania very much.

That's a great video.

I remember years ago watching a supposedly French wrestler called Jean Paul Levesque on WCW and thinking, he has talent but I don't think he'll get anywhere. When he rocked up on WWF as Hunter Hurst Helmsley (some sort of bizarre, American, Regency snob), I thought once again, great talent, shite character. To see what he has managed to achieve in the business (whilst doing most of it as an old school heel) is staggering.

The original McMahon/Helmsley era (Drive Through Wedding/ slutty Steph etc) was probably my favorite period of WWF history, and the above clip has made me want to watch a Wrestlemania again for the first time in years.

Just watched the Live Wrestlemania Press Conference on the Network.

It was excruciatingly funny. Most of the people there were from the mainstream press so had no idea what was going on and stared at the wrestlers as they attempted to get heat or tell some jokes. Dave Batista went into a frankly bizarre skit where he said that whomever wrote his script should be fired then did a weird back and forward conversation with himself to the amusement of nobody.

It was one of those things that were great because of how shit it was. Cena was literally the only person who generated any sort of attention, people even ignored Hulk Hogan.

Ok mate.

My boy loves WWE or whatever it is called. I think it is the biggest pile of tosh going, that is except when the Undertaker is on - brilliant :)))

One of those things. People only tend to get invested in certain characters, and even if you stop watching it you never really lose it.

My first big support was behind Bret Hart as he used to wrestle in Manchester and he was just good at what he did. Not flashy and not homoerotic like Shawn Michaels, he just had the best matches all the time and you got the idea that he really was "the best". I'd pay £100 of my money to watch Bret Hart get in the ring again with absolutely anybody.

WWE Superstars have always looked ridiculous when confronted with 'real world' media. I remember seeing the likes of Legion of Doom or Jim Duggan on things like Going Live, and the interviews were always embarrassing and toe curling. I think wrestling is something that only really makes sense in it's own, self contained world. Mind you, I suppose they would all have been roided and coked up back in the day, that never looks good on Saturday morning kids programs.

I'm sort of with you on that one but I'll ask what TV series looks in tune with the media when they attempt to not break character?

Would the press conferences on Breaking Bad be better or worse if we saw "Heisenberg the character"?

Rock and a hard place. The WWE can't quite decide where it fits into mainstream entertainment over the last few years. I'll say this though, I bet the WWE network haas made the millions and millions

I must admit as well, the Wyatt Family are very good too. Think the Shield are faggots :)))

(Sorry to anyone offended by the "f" word, gratuitous and unnecessary)
