Evans played the 2nd half Tuesday as a trialist for Melbourne City against Bury in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Carrington. Score was 2-2 btw, Evans didn't score.allblackcitizen said:Anyone know what's happening with this kid? Not seen him on any of the pre-season tour vids yet.

What i've been told City was keen on him going to St Mirren but he was'nt happy about it.Don't know anything more at the moment. I'll try and find out a bit more info tomorrow.LoveCity said:What's going on with George, does anyone know?
Season has started and he's still here after signing a new contract. Surely he isn't returning permanently to the EDS after a year on loan because that's not usually the route of our youth players. Once they've gone out on loan, it's usually more loans or leave after that.
Didn't get as much info on his loan to Crewe as Huws' to Birmingham, but it seemed to go pretty well so I would have thought he might step up a level this season or at least head back to Crewe.
I'd love for him to play for the first team and become the first to play for us at every age group (I believe), but have no idea what his level is now. Is he as good as Razak and able to play a few League Cup games this season if we get lower league opposition?

Usually who makes it should be near the first team squad and have made atleast couple of appearances by that age. At the moment I see only Huws and Lopes making it from the old U21 bunch.
