Well it looks like they've now cut out the middle man. Federal law enforcement in Washington are now covering their insignias and name tags and are concealing their identity.

All the rioting, looting and violence against people protecting their properties / businesses is guaranteed to increase Trumps support I'd suggest.

I'd say the current state of things does play right into his hands.

The vast majority of the US is not protesting however they will be outraged at the killing of Floyd.

The fact is though they will welcome the restoration of order and that is the only thing that Trump is talking about and offering.

I can accept politicians protesting and joining in.... but not condemning violence and anarchy.. That's flawed unless you meet the popular opinion.

He's not made promises, but has planted the seeds to the public in how difficult making charges stick to police, are.

Someone has just put up on Facebook ‘Where were the protests when white Lee Rigby was killed by a black man?”. The other day it was about an immigrant killing the 7 year old in the park. Both got a few likes although the latter was deleted when he got slated.

And it could all be so easily prevented if America could crack down on police brutality against black Americans - if the president and certain governors can implement real change and real punishments for these incidences.
