George Floyd murder / Derek Chauvin guilty of murder

Funny how often this line is trotted out by people trying to defend the police after committing the indefensible.

You don't have a clue what it's like to be shot to death by someone who is supposed to protect you and your community but it's not exactly stopped you from running your fucking mouth, has it?
funny because it's true.
Returning to Duante. He gets out of the car. He's wanted. He complies. It's all sorted out. None of what follows happens.

There was me thinking I knew and had close friends in that community, I’m not suggesting it’s not a difficult job but you do seem to have taken a very polarised view.
I think my original post has been misunderstood-I attempted to put forward deeper reasons than what is fed to us by the media. I am extremely proud of my service and how I always tried to help people.
But I can also see the same pics with Duante brandishing a firearm and also see footage of him trying to evade arrest. At no stage did I justify the shooting by the officer-but I can also see that two lives were ruined in that moment.

it means the police aren’t very well trained in America, their selection process seems to be very dubious as well with many ex-forces with possible PTSD been employed, hence the trigger happiness in many shootings.
My understanding is most never even draw their weapon, let alone fire it. Thankfully we are never likely to see routine arming of officers in this country-certainly there are plenty of officers that I didn't trust with CS let alone anything else.
