But you have tried. If you're admitting that you've done that because you were being overzealous because of pre-existing frustrations and past experiences then I can accept that.

My frustrations actually alluded to the revolving door of arrest, repeated criminality that serves no purpose, that achieves very little. The answer lies elsewhere.

But at no point have I justified a 'death penalty'. I'm saying comply with simple instructions-that's what being arrested means. It would help amongst all the noise that somebody in a position of power and influence actually said it-because all I can see is people justifying resisting arrest as if it should be an entitlement.

Of course it's a tragedy-when things go wrong it usually involves a whole series of events that lead to that one moment.

But the implication is in your omission.

The fact is that he shouldn't have been shot and he was. Every comment I've seen so far from you has been about his responsibility in the situation leading up to it and there's been nothing about her being the deciding factor.

You've chosen to repeatedly paint a picture of the victim as a caricature of a thug based on a criminal record you tried to blow out of proportion.

What are you trying to do here if not downplay both the responsibility of Kim Potter and the loss of Daunte Wright's life?

He died because she pulled her gun rather than the taser and shot him.

He didn't die because he didn't comply.
He didn't die because he resisted arrest.
He didn't die because he has some past indiscretions.
He didn't die because there are pictures of him holding a gun.
He didn't die because he might have been a wannabe gangster.

The above also applies to George Floyd (slightly different circumstances but I'm sure you get my point)

There wouldn't be an argument because it's a fact and it's only been pointed out because of efforts to deflect from it.
