There was a time when I used to be one of his biggest fans, and followed his every word.
Then I realised he most certainly isn’t a socialist, nor is he particularly left wing.
What he is, IMO, is a money-obsessed grifter, who has far more in common with the tories than the working class.
He’s now talking about going after Angela Rayners seat at the next G.E.

I would have a lot more time for him if he parked his tank on the lawns of his Tory mates instead of focusing his attention on unseating a working class single mother.
But I suppose the people he is targeting want multi millionaires like him to pay more in tax, whilst the tories that he seems unwilling to focus his attention on want them to pay less.

They do say money and greed can change a person. He is the living embodiment of that sentiment.

I heard some of his LBC interview yesterday and he seemed genuinely upset that an interview supposedly about the local election results was turned into a criticism of some of his comments on unrelated matters. He's been in politics long enough to know that was inevitable.
As for his use of the word "normal" regarding same-sex relationships: He claimed same-sex relationships were not as normal as heterosexual relationships because the human race would die out within a couple of generations if they were. The fact that children would still be born to heterosexual couples was the obvious riposte but the interviewer didn't go down that route.
Galloway kept screaming that the clip they played was edited to make his comments sound worse but the interview denied that was the case. Galloway then hung up so we never got his incisive (ho, ho, fucking ho) opinions of the local election results.
I can't feel any sympathy for Galloway as he is an opportunistic **** who will jump on any bandwagon. - In previous incarnations he has stressed respect for all views but now seems unhappy with the equality of same-sex relationships. Does this reflect his new found electorate in Rochdale?
