Weikens was a bottom half Premier League player easily. Now I've seen very good footballers play in about the 10th division in this country so I'd say Weikens was FAR from rubbish! He was also a great servant to City too and put in some fantastic performances for us.

Weikens was a bottom half Premier League player easily. Now I've seen very good footballers play in about the 10th division in this country so I'd say Weikens was FAR from rubbish! He was also a great servant to City too and put in some fantastic performances for us.

Wasn't he our player of the year in the Div 3 season? Ok, not a great accolade maybe but he stood out in that team as a proper footballer along with Horlock and his winner at Wrexham was bloody priceless in retrospect. As mentioned already his performance in the last Maine Rd derby was outstanding considering he'd not played much that season.
