Gerard Wiekens

For those at york away.

You are guaranteed at least a million sales that way :)

Good luck with the book and as somebody already said it is good to hear that former players are decent people off the pitch and love the club still.

You can stick your fucking treble up your arse

for the post watershed version's title

Lets not forget that Wiekens was the person who lifted us from our lowest ever league position with the Boxing Day winner at Wrexham.

il second that. a thumping header from a corner iirc. great goal, great pro. this game started our charge up the table.

He's got two pictures of that goal on his wall! One where he's controlling it and one where he's volleying it.

Make sure you keep the question mark....and send me a free copy ;)

Haha. We'll see. I am still open to other titles too. ;)

To be fair, when it's written, I'm not going to be quiet about it. :P

Ged Wiekens and Lucien Mettomo played as a makeshift centre-back pairing in the the last Maine Road Derby . He was immaculate and had van nistle-horseface in his back pocket the whole game .

That's what I'll always remember him for personally. Wiekens never did enough for me as a midfielder and when he was put in at centre half against nistelrooy I feared the worst, but he played an absolute blinder

A great player for City.

The spine of the 99 side - Weaver, Wiekens, Horlock, and Goater will live long in the memory and always have a place at the high table in any history of Manchester City FC.
