Germany v England | Nations League | Tues 7th June '22

Does anyone no the point of Mason Mount , what the f*ck does he do ? How he starts before Grealish is only a reflection of Southgate dour management , zero creativity in that team and Saka is hardly any better , Gallagher and Bowen have had better seasons and are the players in form but they dont play for a "big name" club.
Grealish turned that game on its head for 20 minutes and presented Kane with three decent chances , Southgate is just a safe yes man that the English F.A need , he has some outstanding players at his disposal but has no idea how to utilise them . If either Mount or Saka start the next game then Southgate can f*ck off the problem is no Premier league team would touch him , he's a Championship level maager out of his depth.

Read your question back, you answered it yourself. What a waste of talent - again!

It's amazing how many don't know the offside law, the German player made a play for and touched the ball into Kane's path, negates Kane being in an offside position

Imagine Pep in charge of England and those players , we do have some genuinely top class players we just need a coach/maanger who plays progressive and positive football because we do have the ability in the squad , we need someone to harness it.

The Athletic did a thing about the Southgate/Grealish relationship last year, the gist of it is here.

I'd be hugely disappointed and surprised if Southgate's letting the fact his mate struggled to manage a player 5 years ago influence his team selection now (although perhaps, in the light of that story, not as disappointed as Jack will have been to not be picked to take a penalty in the Euro final).

But I guess it speaks to his general approach. I think he sees Mount as a player who will always do as he's told, and worries that Grealish is less controllable, not realising that spark of creativity is what the team needs.

If that is true and I was Jack Grealish I would seriously consider retiring from International Football as long as Gareth Southgate is in charge. And people wonder why England continue to fail with the attitude from the manager.

We are the best team in England and we have five English players it makes sense when they are all available then they all start , Pep has made every single one of them better players during his tenure , about time Southgate took his head out of his arse and realised he has the nucleus of a superb team , he just needs to find six more players near the same level.

If Pep was in charge England, FA would be investigated by UEFA and FIFA for sport-washing and most of the supporters would complain after England winning the WC, 'but would he be able to do it with Costa RIca?'.

Although that rule doesn’t apply when playing Liverpool hence some being confused
