Germany vs France - Euro 2016: Semi-Final - 07/07/16

I think it's really harsh to say his hands are in an unnatural position. No, you don't run with your hands over your head, but the leaning and pushing and pulling in the box, along with jumping, will put his hands there. Things are unnatural when you make yourself big in order to deny space for a shot or pass. Schweinsteiger had little idea of what was going on and I believe had his eyes closed as the ball hit him. We've stretched the idea of "unnatural position" quite a bit through the years.

I come back to intent. I think there's almost no chance that he has an intention to handle the ball. Not enough bad things can happen to United players so whatever but that to me was a textbook ball to hand.

Well guess the consensus on here is that it was a peno, whether that is because it was the pig farmer that was penalised remains to be seen, I look forward to 20 penalties in the second half

Nope. Nowt to do with the pig fucker, it was the fact he hand balled it. I initially thought the ref was a cheating ****, but on watching it again it was nailed on.

I thought frontzeck was harsh all them years back but that penalty call is un fucking believable, don't think he even touched it so did he give it for obstruction or what. I've never seen owt like that, worst penalty call I think I've ever seen
What? The one given against Micah at Anfield and the one at the swamp in the FA Cup in' 95 (?). Both of them way worse than tonight's.

Germans need to get their head back in the game and continue what they were doing first half and the goal will come.
