Quite the change in keeper profile from Eddie and Ortega to Trafford and Donnaruma

Do we expect Pep to tell them to try and play the same way or switch it up and be a bit more direct?

Gonna be interesting

Of course he isn't as he isn't signing for any of the red mardarses.

Whilst there is a Conga going on in the sky sports studio because of Isak they still find the time to fire out their negative shite about our transfers.

Can't understand why you'd post it though. Odd.

Because it's a discussion point, on a forum discussing this transfer... 1756724537197.png

The fact he’s come up from the championship and looks prone to a gaff. That of course erases with time. Put it this way, should Arsenal or Liverpool - our title rivals, have signed Trafford and passed on the chance of Donnarumma, this forum would be pissing it’s pants at them.
Agree. Just bizarre to spend that much on him, then by a 26 year old certain starter whilst still not having one proper right back at the club

I have nothing against us signing Donnarumma, top class GK.
But one could also argue that this forum would be "pissing it's pants" at Arsenal or Liverpool if they had a young English national team GK in their squad but no RB or winger who offers a goal threat and still completely ignored those issues and instead thought it was a higher priority to bench said GK.

@ancoats what’s the obsession with Trafford mate?

Trafford is great. Going to be amazing in the future but don’t think he’s a title winning keeper just yet. I’m sure he’ll still play a lot this season tho. But We’re signing arguably the best keeper in the world, captain for Italy, just won champions league, an absolute leader a 6ft 5 beast and he’s only 26. Not enough dancing gifs

Always happy to have 2 top players in each position but I just hope it'll be a fair fight for no. 1.

But playing ahead of Ederson this season in the first 3 games ? sort of says your number 1
Or maybe we were persuading Eddie to go before he walked for nothing - & whilst another great keeper is available?

To be fair, we can all only guess as club are v discrete
