I mentioned it was 15 years ago to my wife this morning and she said "it's not the same anymore, it used to be fun going to the match", yeah Love, you're right all this winning trophy's and watching some of the best football in the world, I know what she means but bloody hell !

Just bought this book cant wait. Oh and on another note My father died last year hadn't realised that he has a first day stamp cover for when we won, in 1970, to complete a brilliant European and domestic cup double by winning the European Cup Winners Cup and the League Cup.

I remember at 0-2 tears streaming down my face me and my brother made our way out to the car in Wembley car park, we got in the car and heard a roar turned the radio on and Horlock has scored, we looked at each other but decided to fuck off anyway, my brother turned on the ignition and and we were just about to go when the radio commentator started screaming that Dickov had scored, fuck me we went ballistic and got out and started to running up the steps to get back in, lol there were about 2000 blues all charging back in with 2 poor steward fucks trying to keep everyone out and I remember them being picked up and carried by the crowd it was hilarious what a day never forget that day
 
Spoke to Ian Bishop this morning for an extra detail to a documentary I'm doing on that game too (on air a week on Sunday - the 18th May)... Played in a charity match for the Stroke Association at Edgeley Park.
