Giovanni van Bronckhorst

I fear this is Pep’s last season at the club they don’t want him going into a season with it being his last at the club hope we win the ECL to leave him a fine legacy
Pep has never left early until his contract is concluded. I think next year will
Be his last though I don’t foresee him signing an extension. Hope I am wrong though.

Falling into the trap of being a one manager club isn't worth worrying about, we won the premier league and cups before Pep and we will win them after too. Saying that, we should do everything we can to try and keep him.

More to the point if @karen7 fancies him he's in.

He passes the test

Arteta worries me,he is very quiet,he might have had the best education but does he have the personality,i'm not convinced

Yep. We have the best set-up, the best facilities and are choice of the best managers. Our worst case scenario for the next ten years once Pep goes is we get on the top European manager merry go round which gets you, at worst, a league every three years and a handful of cups.

I don't think he's gaffer material either. Coach yes, manager no.

It's pretty laughable people judging Arteta's capability based on his perceived demeanour on the sideline. I mean come on, really. What an absolute crock of shit.

This is a guy who was captaining Arsenal even when he was barely playing, and was fought over by multiple clubs to join their staff as soon as he retired. Whether or not he'll turn out a top manager remains to be seen, but pretty sure he's got a bit about him.

Agreed. He can't be too 'enthusiastic' when working alongside pep because that is what pep does so he needs to be the calm one.
If arteta was assistant to Roy Hodgson for example, I imagine he would behave very differently on the sideline

Yup but when has people not having a clue about something stopped them offering an opinion.

Nope.

He’s top and his style isn’t much different from our own.

He's alright, and he'd probably win some things, but I just think he's a very, very, very noticeable step down.

Why not someone like Erik ten Hag who is young, ambitious worked with Pep, and has proven himself to work bringing through youth in the philosophy our team is now built around?
