Giovanni van Bronckhorst

If a top job comes along this season or next whose to say that Arteta wouldn’t be tempted to move on as a Manager in his own right. Or even follow Pep to his next managerial role.

Maybe Van Bronchorst is being lined up as Director of football, even. Of course that would mean Marwood moving out eventually maybe of his own making? So many possibilities.

The thing bout him learning all the background jobs hint it might be something off the pitch related, i agree.

Whether GvB ever becomes manager is almost irrelevant at this stage. It’s heartening that City are strategising for the future, tapping into Pep for advice to try to ensure that the inevitable dip from Pep’s departure is as small as possible.

it also means that if Arteta were to leave, we would have the option of another manager knowing how the club is run from top to bottom to take over when the sad day comes.

When pep goes, I honestly think we should consider changing our style completely. Nobody can emulate pep, they’ll always be in his shadow even if they’re a success in their own right and will be constantly compared to him.

My vote is to bring in mourinho and sign 9 centre backs.

Currently preparing to replace Pep by earning his crust in the lower league ........ makes perfect sense

Is this made up bollocks or is it from the horses mouth as in city’s board, van bronckhorst doesn’t seem like the type to succeed in the high pressure cauldron of the premier league ...
I rate him quite highly actually.
