Anyone know how many deaths caused by dogs in the UK?

I hate the fucking things but other members of my family have and love them. However, the only dogs I've ever seen that were truly disciplined were working/military dogs. I would love there to be a licence including a qualification for dog owners.

Not the UK, but in the US since 2000 on the average there are 26 deaths a year from dogs.

most of the time a dog only becomes dangerous because of its owner and the way it has been trained/treated.

people should only be given so called dangerous dogs if they know how to look after them properly.

doesn't matter what breed or if it was a loving family dog, people forget they can turn on you anytime.shocks me that folk leave young kids alone with dogs, although i see this is a 15yr old in this case

Give over. Millions of people live side by side with all types of dogs in this country alone. Lots of them have children.

Sounds like its an open house, obviously if its a friends house she has been there before and probably knows the dogs and trusted them, this pie thing looks like its the trigger, poor soul

I'd agree entirely with that,in fact any dog, unfortunately it appear the opposite is more the norm.

THIS, probs coming from someone who has never had a dog or had experience with a dog.

A dogs behaviour most of the time is determined by the owner, my neighbour houses trained rotweilers all of them as soft as anything only when he the owner says anyhting can they turn.
