It has to be Joe,
I have never liked that Given does not come out for crosses and the number of goals that we have given away because of it.

That's the reason I'm not the biggest Given fan. I think he's a good shot stopper but he can't deal with crosses and doesn't control the defense well enough.

Even though Hart doesn't have the experience, I still think he's a better all round goalkeeper.

Given for me. It apears that some people have forgoten how many points he single handedly saved us last year. The guy is class. Hart can and WILL wait.

Definitely Given for me. This is going to be a very important season for us with this financial fair play nonsense arriving soon and I can't help but think we need an experienced keeper between the posts.

Hart has one thing that is key in a goalkeeper - presence. Standing at about 6"4, he's a very big lad. His decision making was the one thing that was concerning, which he has sorted after a good season out at Birmingham. Hart should be no.1, and Given should be looking to help him as much as he can.

Lol - just shows how opinions can differ. For me presence is exactly what Hart lacks in spite of his size.

No doubt that both are great keepers but Joe is our future so we should be focusing on him. Would not want to be Bobby having to make this decision though! I think if Bobby decides on both we will see them play equal amounts.

Its a no brainer for me, Given has 1 maybe 2 seasons, Hart has 10-15, if Mancini doesn't rate Hart, then he should get a new younger keeper in as number 1. Would be stupid to lose Hart to give Given another year, and if Hart is not rated then it would be foolish not to replace both with e new number 1.
