Glass Tunnel now taking shape

Can't get my head around this one. Why the fuck would anyone want to pay premium prices for the privilege of eating a three course meal in an underground restaurant where you can see players lining up in a tunnel for 20 seconds before they go out on to the pitch?

Once they're on the pitch, every fucker can see them, what's the attraction? I just don't get it whatsoever.

We don't seem to be selling out the corporate offering we already have and the club's answer is to build more corporate, but worse than what we already have while pissing off a load of fans who've been going for donkey's years? All seems a bit strange to me.

So many seem to walk round to meet their mates who's miles away on level 1. Why don't you sit with them

I'd pay for the slight chance that one of our players might lamp a rag in the tunnel after the derby.

Could you not just walk into block 128 walk through the blocks next to the pitch n come out the other side of the pointless wall at block 126 or vice versa
Jobsworth security types have a habit of stopping people walking in front of the press box, in case you give a journo any grief.

no as I said I don't - I enjoy it. Wall might be a bit of a shit idea but bigger problems in life. Might actually help in a way as people will have to enter and exit from the correct points and assist. Can't wait until tommorow, first time I have been with all my 3 kids and my dad. I never said anyone was a liar as you well know. I said that claiming you couldn't get a beer after half two and have a piss at half time was bollox and I maintain that. I will see tommorrow as I said I am on the lower tier. If I can't have a beer and piss I will apologise but I will be amazed if It is as bad as you say. Hope you enjoy your day.
I'm in 116, and Level 1 is probably the same all over the ground. The the queues for half time refreshments are absolutely shocking, but if you're willing to queue, or to miss around 6 minutes of the first half then you're fine. Can't remember which game it was, but I was with a mate and he went for the pints half time, and left his seat at the whistle - he got the beers just as the players were coming out for the second half. As for the bogs, again the queues are bad, but not if you're willing to miss a couple of minutes and go when the game is on it's fine.

As squirty flower partly explained in his post it is not always easy to get seats near your friends/family. Plus some people like to sit near the front (moi) and some like to be further back so that they see every inch of the pitch. :-)

Exactly this
We have a two and a three
I have tried every year since my dad died in 2010 to get the five together and City always tell us there is no availability

I sit in a group of 8, we've all moved together 3 times in the last 6 or 7 seasons, last season being the 3rd time into the second tier. I guess the best time is pre season when people seek to move, don't renew etc, that's when we've moved. Are people being asked to move now or something...?

They are closing 126 and the back of 127.
The people affected have been told they can go in level 2 for two years and then we are left to find an alternative
This is to accommodate a new jcl section

Not all of us are jcls with no mates

Jcl - ok first game age 4, been going every season since and going with my dad today and 3 kids. Dad first went in 1951 and has been to at least twenty five games a season since. As I said if it is getting so bad in 127 and impacting your enjoyment maybe try somewhere else.

Just out of interest to those in 127 - I am assuming it is the block behind the home dugout. By far the biggest problem in that block if I have got the correct one is the dickhead with the grey long hair who thinks every game is a pantomime. Sat near him many times! Painful.
