Of course it would. But not Glastonbury. Rose tinted glasses and all that I think. You don't think it would be absolutely huge if Oasis reunited for Glastobury? You're on the WUM here and you know it !

Not if they reform now.Maybe because they are less relevant two decades later?

GNR were a world presence. Known the world over. Still are. Oasis weren't then and are definitely not now. Wrong venue completely. Never conquered the US. They were a right time right place band with some excellent tunes. The right attitude. Captured the feeling at the time perfectly. Sure you could say the same for GNR but they did it globally.GNR aren’t relevant - in their 60/70s and last album was 2008
As much as I like their music I dont think they would suit Glastonbury. Dont know how relatable they are to many people under 40.I’d love it to be Pink Floyd next year… Or any year to be fair before one of them croaks
Do you understand how tickets work at Glastonbury? It's a lottery. Sure they'd get a big crowd but they would be best suited for our place over a series of nights. Sell out to hundreds of thousands of die hard fans who know the b sides, the odd and the buried album track.I struggle to think of any current or ex band/artists that would draw a bigger crowd at Glastonbury than an Oasis reunion.
An oasis reunion tour now would sell more tickets than at any point in the bands history imo. Liam alone sold 200000 tickets for Knebworth last year.Maybe because they are less relevant two decades later?
And I agree about this as well. Would fucking love to see it but once again, wrong place. 10 nights, Wembley. As much as I like their music I dont think they would suit Glastonbury. Dont know how relatable they are to many people under 40.
Would be surprised if they new anything more than Another Brick In The Wall, maybe Money and if they are into playing guitar possibly Comfortably Numb, but thats about it.
Saw him at Reading in 92. Didn't know any of his tunes, completely blown away. One of the greatest live performances I've ever seen.Headliner? Nick Cave.
you don’t have to know his music to enjoy his shows.
