Glastonbury 2023

It was reported that the BBC had well over 500 employees at the festival. Covering regional TV and local radio. Many staying at expensive local hotels.

Just this thread shows how much the content was consumed, I think their Glastonbury coverage is some of the best stuff they do.

The other reason they have such extensive coverage is because they have worldwide rights for it too so if you’re a licence fee payer, then it’s really not something to have a go at them about.

Personally, that so much of it is available on the bbc is one of the few things I do like about Glastonbury nowadays, having stopped going a while ago. I watch it every year with my kids.
