Global obesity 1 billion

done no exercise for 2 days and feel flat as a pancake.

Gets all those endorphins firing mate! Once you get into a routine and into the swing of things it becomes just as addictive as a pint or a cheeseburger. Doesnt have to be super intense, a nice brisk walk or 30 minutes on an exercise bike watching an episode of something on netflix, gets the heart rate pumping and the body moving.

Really does get you in the right frame of mind for the rest of the day

There are a lot of people that don't understand diet though. There are plenty that think it's fat that makes you fat, when the biggest culprit is certain types of carbs. I know people that choose food marked as low fat, thinking it's good for them etc.

Cheeseburgers actually have decent macros if you make them yourself, like you say the buns are the worst thing on them. You could make a patty with lean mince, throw a slice of halloumi and few tomatos and use iceberg lettuce for buns. Job done!

You never see a fat alcoholic
Frankly a real alcoholic is a regular in many pubs.

Plastic food bag on their arm saying hello in 6 or more pubs dropping in for a quick couple of pints while out shopping.

Certainly many a fat person I know have been forced to give up alcohol because they became diabetic. Others have died a few years after giving alcohol up of liver disease. They simply disappear from the social scene.

Absolutely, I basically had 3 heavy work nights in a row.

Tomorow back to Parkrun and I’ve got a 10k race Sunday . Will feel all good again. Before going pub and feel rubbish again the next day.

Not helped by the diet industry and science changing their minds all the time.

Feel you there mate, sometimes I can't fit the gym in when works dead busy myself and I'm like a coiled spring! I work a physical job but its a different sort of tired than a good workout.

Good luck with the race weekend pal!

Exercise is the absolute best thing for clinical depression. People in wheelchairs train for marathons. Eating healthy and exercising benefits everybody at every level. I suffer with depression myself, I tried to kill myself twice at my lowest points, the gym literally saved my life.

I'm not trying to be a horrible fucker here, but I genuinely think everybody can take care of themselves no matter their level of physical ability. In fact, I've just realised that I do respect some fat people, the ones who I see working hard to try and change it!
Depression is not all ihave wrong , disabled and fibro as well so doing excesise is not that easy , i stick to keto mostly and my weight is fine now

Heard good things about keto, I dont really stick to a strict diet myself, just try to make as much as possible from scratch. I do eat lots of protein, fruit and veg and try to limit carbs so I suppose I follow a little bit of keto principles. The science behind it kickstarting your metabolism seems solid to me. Happy you found what worked for you!

Can't you get one of those exercise machines that George Clooney made in Burn after Reading? :)
