Those juice diets the body ends up cannibalising itself for amino acids and the muscle is wasted along with fat.Gotta be careful with very rapid weight loss, its a great way to get gallstones.

A higher tax on alcohol already exists as it does on cigs. I can't see why it would be unfair to have a higher tax on unhealthy food. Hopefully it would encourage people to look at healthier options.A tax on unhealthy food or alcohol wouldn’t be fair either as it’s too general.
Maybe they could make an NHS tax more specific so as to rule out where obesity isnt caused by lifestyle
It might be a good idea, but no-one's going to do it in a cost of living crisis.A higher tax on alcohol already exists as it does on cigs. I can't see why it would be unfair to have a higher tax on unhealthy food. Hopefully it would encourage people to look at healthier options.
What cost of living crisis? I've been in spoons twice this week and they had a ale for 99p . One was healthy as it had been brewed with strawberriesIt might be a good idea, but no-one's going to do it in a cost of living crisis.
If you have a bit of salad on the cheeseburger does that balance it out?
If i didn't run so much i'd be a fat ****. eat loads of junk shite.
I have been really fat twice in my life , first after a serious car accident that disabled me and i barely moved for a year and the second time with clinical depression , you should never judge anyone without knowing their story
I think it would be too difficult to implement…what’s unhealthy food, high fat? high sugar? ultra processed?, artificial? high in ‘e’ numbers? I know there was a debate around having a sugar tax but may as well just add a food levy tax on everything except fruit/vegetables but it will just be a general form of taxation that anyone will pay whether obese or not…..A higher tax on alcohol already exists as it does on cigs.
