Make sure you point out the deals on the menu before she orders. If you are paying and she wants to order extragavently slip the cost of living crisis into the conversation. After dining in Spoons suggest a drink somewhere expensive and let her know its her round, then alternate your rounds between Spoons and Holts pubs. If all going well ask does she fancy some live music and head to the Millstone karaoke.
