Good news: City ready to spend big again

Let's hope City feel able to make an assessment of the quality of our young players even though we can't - unless you watch them regularly which most of us can't do.

Utd managed to play quite a couple of their young players this season and they've spent a lot more than we have

Pellegrini said he'd give young players a chance. he hasn't, unless he has concluded that none of them were/are good enough
Now, now, Marvin. You know very well that the tactical turtle had no choice with injuries in defence and midfield. Had they had a much better squad not one of them would have seen the light of day. You're not buying into the media bias are you?

Players like Blackett, McNair and Wilson have gone missing lately with more players available. Just imagine what chances they will have after a projected £150m summer spree on defenders and midfielders (and probably a striker to replace Falcao). United play them because they had problems, not because of some 'philosophy'. Just as City played Pozo because of so many injuries. United almost let Januzaj go in January too, I'd expect him to be moved on in the summer while Perreira is apparently ready to walk for free because of lack of chances like Pogba did.

has there been any inclination as to how much we can spend this summer?

A couple of media sources have said £200m but not sure how reliable they are

Will be nowhere near that. Anyone expecting a flurry of signings will be disappointed imo. The biggest spending will be at the swamp and the chavs

why are you so sure???? a 200M budget on new players and 80-90M from sales players will mean a 120-110M net spend....and tbh if you really think chelsea are going to spend more than us you will have a shock tbh...we are in a much more need to rebuild the team than them

Fair play mate, you've made just 3 posts and managed to make it blatantly obvious you are not a City fan. I'll give you a 7/10 for effort, 3/10 for execution. Better luck next time.
