I still remember the words of Khaldoon (and on another stage Soriano) saying we will always buy players that can improve us, but it won't be wholesale of changes. Maybe 2 or 3. If these three are Pogba-De Bruyne-Sterling to name just 3 for an altogether package or let's say EPS200 it is in a way a bit mental. But at least it'll give us the input that qualityplayers can bring on a more guarenteed bases than when we keep looking for quantity players. We have plenty of those as it is. As a club, in Europe at least, we destroyed football as it is, even without spending over EPS40 for an individual player so far. We already lost players like Isco and Hazard for being too decent.
There also needs to arrive quality (not quantity) from the EDS, but imo the quality is not ready to enter the 1st team just yet. Maybe Lopes and Denayer being the exception. And there's always the odd surprise player either from the academy or brought in for very little money...
