Glad to see the back of him to be honest. If you think he got 'chased out of town' then you are sadly wrong.

I knew we had to let him go when we won the league and instead of staying behind to go on the open top bus tour, he went back to Italy the same day. What a great character, what a lovely human-being. I think not.

I don't really care if he becomes the best striker on the planet (which he won't), you cannot win things consistently if you have people in the squad who don't give a shit about the club, its fans, their manager, their team-mates. the guy is a basic bad apple.

For the occasional good moments, I say, well done Mario, for the rest of it, I say good riddance.
The day I care about a parade is the day I need to contemplate quitting life because I would be the failure.

I'm actually not even gona argue with that one! A pathetic response if all told.
There is no argument to be made about judging someone over a parade.

I will be honest, I'm pretty gutted.

Me too. He was fun and he's going to be fucking brilliant. And we'll all be watching him do it for someone else because he was never going to get a fair crack either at this team or in this league. True shame.

Bollocks. No City player has ever been given more chances. He's thrown them all back in Mancini's face.

Correct.

should have gone in the summer and big effort to sign van persie,we would be miles clear in the league and still in the champions league .it was not rocket science.good riddance go and be a distraction in milan. but all the best anyway i,ll always remember that pass to segio, see what you can do when your bothered.

Just one of many incidents that show the character of Balotelli. Most people would WANT to be there, for the team, to have a laugh with their team-mates and most importantly to respect and thank the fans of the club.

Tip of a rather large iceberg.

We've lost only money
But this transfer is a great contribution, especially for the team spirit
"A rotten apple" is gone

Actually with amortisation we may have actually made a book profit, even if we get less than the £24m we paid for him...
