Goodbye Mario? (merged)

I liked Mario, thought he was interesting, but on the pitch he annoyed the F**K out of me. He was lazy, but showed bits of class now and again. Why would a player with that amount of talent just not use it everytime he is on the field. Even if he did want to go back to Italy, show you full range of talents & you will have more clubs looking to sign you.

Anyway...........good luck Mario.........its been interesting!

Would his price gone up or down if we sold him in the summer?
I cant see the point of selling him now, he could come in handy

30 goals in 75 games? Man of the Match in the Cup Final. A fantastic character and wonderful player who is still very young.

It Always feels more like City when we have a Nutjob on the payroll. Onwards and upwards but its a sad day.
He was very much a City type of player. That's why he was embraced. The daftness of Mario suits most of our fanbase to a tee, although of course there was always the Main Stand moaners, who have always needed a scapegoat. Up next, Nasri? Or Garcia?

I disagree.
The time when we could embrace a naturally gifted but temperamental and erratic player are long gone.
To compete with the best we need players who we can rely on,not those who will put in a shift when it suits, then let the side down at key moments,or go missing completely like he did in the first half of the derby match.
I agree that we will miss his unpredictability, but I'm not entirely sure that is a bad thing.
Sometimes being boringly consistent is enough.

I disagree with letting him go, think we could live to regret this, if no one comes replaces him.

We could replace him with a house brick and get just the same amount of effort. This will upset the hater haters but he didn't love you back and he didn't want to be here.

Colin Bell stand?

Wow, end of the line for Mario.

I'll miss some of his funny antics.

I won't miss the footballer.

GL for the future Mario.
