I disagree with letting him go, think we could live to regret this, if no one comes replaces him.

We could replace him with a house brick and get just the same amount of effort. This will upset the hater haters but he didn't love you back and he didn't want to be here.

I think we should have kept him until the end of the season. We're at a crucial stage, in contention for a double, and I feel the more options and depth we have, the better.
someone wanted rid off him now to sanction the move.

how well has he actually played this season, he hasnt, simples. so we wont be any weaker, i think it may be Guidettis chance to have a bash at the big time, maybe too early, but worth a punt i think.
im just hoping we dont rush out and by average players like last time

Inevitable this would happen really. He's is an undoubted talent but has just too much baggage and bad press to suggest he could ever truly fulfil his potential here - especially with the chances that have been given to him.

As many have pointed out, there have been some major highlights (FA Cup, 1-6, Aguero assist) and I'll remember him as being part of our success over the last two years. At the same time many will remember his crass stupidity, petulance and immaturity that could have cost us a whole lot more than it eventually did.

Bye Mario, you've made me cheer, laugh, curse and pull my hair out, sometimes all in the same game. Make headlines for the right reason, prove your doubters wrong and you will be remembered as a footballer should be. One thing's for sure, we'll never see another one like you again. Is that a good thing? Maybe it is.
