Absolutely gutted. He was such a character. Goodbye mario and good luck i hope u become one of the world's best.

Crocodile tears from all the journos who've spent 2 1/2 years slagging him off now saying he'll be missed. Damn hypocrites....they make me puke.

Thanks for the memories Mario - there should've been so many more - and thanks for being a total gentleman when you met me and my little girl in the TC

Not overly fussed about his leaving. But am majorly fucked right off with us letting Milan get him on their terms seemingly.

We should have set a price.....told them it's non-negotiable and stuck to our guns. Once again they screw us and we take it.....

They won't be crocodile tears, they will be completely legitimate. Journos will miss him because he's the easiest football headline since Gazza.

Good luck Mario. Pity he wasn't consistent enough while he was with us. However, he's left us with some great (and not so great) memories; the semi final and final, the QPR title decider, the last minute penalty against Spurs, the hat trick against Villa, fireworks, training ground bust-ups, darts, the LA Galaxy back heel, red cards, grass allergys, and of course...

See you Mario!

Never even came close to realizing his potential with us, good for a few column inches but ultimately a disappointment. Wish him all the best but not really arsed one way or the other at seeing him go.

Has Bluemoon agreed a clause that takes Mancio to some Italian football site?

Didatic last seen trying to stow away on the undercarriage of a Milan bound private aircraft with a fake birth certificate that claims he was really born in Brescia and a tattooed birthmark on his arse that is a replica of Balotelli's.

I am delighted he has gone personally as I feel, on balance, he was a detriment to the squad in terms of professional application weighed against what he offered on the pitch. At least Didatic and other City fans can get back to appreciating or moaning about a player based upon what is important and not upon their daft persona. (Mancio is a lost hope on that score though - not that he is any sort of City fan that I recognise)

Goodbye Mario - the greatest City player of all-time.
I think you'll find that was another striker who also had to endure lots of hate from 'haters':
