He is high profile for all the WRONG reasons,or he was.He is now A C Milan's problem. One thing,if he suddenly starts ripping up defences in Italy, what will be his supporters opinion of him then, seen as he rarely did it for us?

Yes because our mavericks trio strikeforce are ripping up defences left right and center scoring goals for fun something that Mario rarely did... Yeah Right

That WASN'T the question though was it?No they are not at the moment but they have done in the past, aside from the swamp when did Mario rip apart many defences?

The question.....again.....was.....IF he suddenly starts running riot and banging in goals in Italy, would you consider he took the piss when playing for us?

Glad he's gone, he brought the wrong headlines to our club, I said on a phone in the other week that he was a waste of a squad number and its true. I will however watch his career with interest as he has undoubted talent. That's worth fuck all if you don't want to apply it though. With his red cards his partying, fireworks and using carrington as a fight club you'd have to say he was engineering a move back very early on. By the time he grappled with Mancini I bet he was thinking wtf does someone have to do before being sacked from this club. Well he got his wish. Now fuck off.

Precisely this. I have no doubt he will start his career at Milan in blazing fashion and folk on here will 'told you so', but I believe in the long term those same, bonkers fans last night will be left scratching their heads when the true Balotelli reveals himself. On that, they were a bit fucking mental last night weren't they?! Another difference between the English fans and those on the continent.
As for our fans, i've never known an outpour of what can only be described as grief like this for an outgoing player who simply wasn't that good, and did little, (cue 'but the lay off for Aguero, the final.....), to prove the reputation he'd brought. I doubt Dzeko would get such a thread, but that is simply because the X Box generation don't see Dzeko in the same way as Balotelli, because Dzeko isn't an off the field 'star' like Balotellu supposedly is, and if that is what we are now basing our fondness of a player for, football is fucked.

I think there is a element of truth in what you say there Bill from the point that he's probably been trying to force a move or getting himself sacked. What shows him up as being a bit stupid is he didn't realise that the club would not waste their investment, and were only going to let him go for a decent fee.

It is the right time for Mario to go now, for both us and him, and there can only be one winner, "Manchester City" He will never change. He will only go on to self destruct. As I said in a previous post, Mario likes the lifestyle of a footballer, not being a footballer. Is he the Chris Eubank's of Football?

Crazy video here of Balotelli with Galliani jumping around and singing with the Milan fans. They are singing in Italian but it translates to "He who doesn't jump is Nerazzurri (Inter Milan fan)". You can clearly see his bald head bobbing up and down. Apologies if already linked.

He already seems happier than he ever did in public here.. didn't do any of this jumping with the fans here did he? not that city fans ever congregated around him when he signed

That's just a difference in culture that, though i'm sure he will be pleased to be part of 'his own'. We had City fans welcoming signings in 2009 but in our own, reserved English way. Other than Shearer at Newcastle, that's about the best i've ever seen of an English club welcoming it's new player(s)

I'm sort of glad it just all over, no more petty bickering on here any more

I know what you mean, although i'm not gonna hold my breath.

You'll have the frothy mouthed haters watching his every move in Italy before dashing out a post saying, 'told you so' when he does something 'controversial'.
