Sure he will be back at city one day in some capacity or another or even commentating on the radio one of those players that will always have a connection with city, he put is heart and soul into that defence for many years and i for one wish him all the best at villa what are the odds on an own goal from him at the coms this year i'm sure he will get a top welcome back for that match he deserves it .

That chant will never have been louder for him.
Hope so he never let us down good move for him now though .

I actually got a bit emotional watching that! As mentioned, I feel as if the last trace of the 'old City' has now gone.

Onwards and upwards!

Last home game of the season, we might have bigger worries tbh.

But hopefully our season will be wrapped up by then (title won early April) so the game won't mean anything.
Could you imagine we need to score in last 5 minutes to secure the title and up pops dunnie with an own goal !

This poem is concerning the death of American president Abraham Lincoln. Somehow I feel some of the words are relevant to RD moving on. The job is almost done. Best of Luck Richard; you will be missed.

O Captain My Captain
a poem by Walt Whitman

O Captain my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weathered every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up--for you the flag is flung for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribboned wreaths for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
Here Captain! dear father!
This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
You've fallen cold and dead.

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still;
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will;
The ship is anchored safe and sound, its voyage closed and done;
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
But I, with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
