Gotze - signed for Bayern

On tonight's showing he's going to be a very fucking expensive substitute.

City should get in there for Gustavo who now clearly wont even get on Bayern's bench but is proper quality.

Is Gustavo good ?.
was good enough to be starting CM alongside Schweinsteiger before Martinez came. So you can say good enough for Europe as last season Bayern went all the way to the final. A good player and a ball winner too which is something we have lacked.

This been calling for us to sign Gustavo very underrated with Gotze in the Team one Toni Kroos, Muller, Shaqiri and Robben are going to constantly miss out.

Gotze certainly has thought to himself "Damn I made a very good decision" after what Bayern did tonight..

That's us missed out on another potential world class player.... I'm sure we'll send an equally powerful message by signing Will Hughes or possibly even Wayne Routledge if we're lucky!
Why is it you think we have a divine right to sign players?

How do you know we didn't bid for him, offer him 200k a week and bonuses.
Players can reject us you know?

Bayern with Pep are a huge pull and it will be extremely more difficult now to sign players with the money they have and the players.
I would hazard a guess that the German wages are significantly lower than our league's so if you are happy watching the top young talent going to other clubs as it's 'not our divine right' then that's absolutely fine.

My opinion is if we are offering 200k (as you quoted), with fantastic bonuses and a chance to play with the title challengers of the strongest league then someone isn't doing their job correctly in attracting these players. We're not exactly shit are we...

Are you living in some parallel universe mate? Bayern have similar wage structure to City, barely behind. Gotze will earn 7 mil. eur per season. He wouldn't get much more at City and nobody ever was able to attract German players wanted by Bayern. Not even Madrids, Barcelonas, Uniteds, Milans etc.. so it's certainly mission impossible for newcomers like City.

Except last Euro due to Ozil, Khedira, Podolski etc.. going abroad, German national team was filled almost completely by Bundesliga players for dozen big tournaments prior.

Well there not, especially Bayern.
I am not happy watching players like Gotze going to other clubs, I would love him at City but there are simply too many advantages for him to go to Bayern than City.

What else should this someone do then if he offered him a package like that apart from beg? Interested to see what you as I guess a top negotiator would do?

We're not exactly on the same level as Bayern either.
