Some of the media coverage of this borders on hatred.

And he preaches hatred towards our country/way of life....

It's called freedom of speech. He has the right to express his opinions, just like the rest of us.

I don't necessarily agree with his views, but I hate the way that the media / government create hysteria around people like AQ to distract the public from more important issues.

Whatever we're led to think, Jordan ain't the nicest place to be. Do we really want to risk sending someone who's little more than a loudmouth, to his possible death?

There are far worse people than Abu Qatada walking free in this country.

Ironically, that beloved line of 'freedom of speech' is one of the first things that twunts like him would stop, should he get his way. Alongside homosexuality being legal, women's rights, choice of religion etc....yup...great stuff....

And? He still has a right to it, whether you hate what he says or not.

And you my friend are the exact reason why the UK is a complete laughing stock of the world and a soft touch for such people.
Liberal, do gooder' namby pamby, human rights crap like you are spouting is why everyone takes the piss out of us!
Does this happen in the USA? - no
France? - No
Germany? - No

A pattern begins to emerge....

Laughing stock, check.
Liberal do-gooder, check.
Human rights, check.

Are you trying to get all the right wing cliches into one post?

Who is this everyone that takes the piss out of us?

Here is an article about Germany's problems with deporting illegal immigrants and failed asylum seekers. http://www.dw.de/german-court-halts-refugee-deportation/a-16097797

A web search of "USA and illegals" gives article after article detailing America's problems with deporting people.

The UK isn't the only country who has this problem.

Oh no what did I do? :/

An Emergency Call Centre worker in London has been dismissed from her job,
much to the dismay of colleagues who are reportedly unhappy with her treatment.

It seems a male caller dialled 999 from a mobile phone stating, "I am depressed
and lying here on a railway track. I am waiting for the train to come so I can finally meet Allah."
Apparently "remain calm and stay on the line" was not considered to be an appropriate or correct response...

-- Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:44 pm --

F***** GET THIS PARASITE OUT -NOW. Torture the f**k out of him in Jordan- gooood!!! We have become so fucking week it's untrue. fuming.

Am I the only one that feels uneasy at deporting him ? Back in a middle Eastern country he could build a strong fan base for his hatred against are way of living and create more terrorists.

I'd rather the police arrest him in our country for any reason they can find.

Of course you will explain in a less outraged way what the man has done wrong im sure.

But the fact you want a fellow human being tortured tells me you are an utter ****, not that it was not widely known
