And he preaches hatred towards our country/way of life....

It's called freedom of speech. He has the right to express his opinions, just like the rest of us.

I don't necessarily agree with his views, but I hate the way that the media / government create hysteria around people like AQ to distract the public from more important issues.

Whatever we're led to think, Jordan ain't the nicest place to be. Do we really want to risk sending someone who's little more than a loudmouth, to his possible death?

There are far worse people than Abu Qatada walking free in this country.

Ironically, that beloved line of 'freedom of speech' is one of the first things that twunts like him would stop, should he get his way. Alongside homosexuality being legal, women's rights, choice of religion etc....yup...great stuff....

Have you ever been there? I used to visit Amman quite a lot, it's a great place and the people there are brilliant, very down to earth

Am I the only one that feels uneasy at deporting him ? Back in a middle Eastern country he could build a strong fan base for his hatred against are way of living and create more terrorists.
